FUNDAMENTAL CAMP (FULL) – Metro Ice Arena, Iowa (AUGUST 3-7, 2020)

Ages: 6-9
Hours: 9 a.m. until 3:45 p.m.
On-ice instruction: 16 hours
Camp limit: 30 skaters / 4 goalies

Annual Coaching Seminar (JULY 26th, 2020)
Date: Wednesday, July 26, 2012
Where: Carlsbad, San Diego
Who: Any coach, any level, any age

  • Overview of parent meetings to set expectations and standards
  • how to build a coaching staff

Our on-ice component will allow us to apply what has been covered in the seminar in an authentic way. We will focus on the following principles of the game:

  • Practice plans and rationale
  • Drill progressions
  • Small Area philosophy for drills and games
  • Principles of play ( Breakouts, Entries, Forecheck and Defensive Zone Coverage)
  • Demonstrators will execute the drill progressions so a first-hand experience takes place

Champions Hockey Academy offers young hockey players an opportunity to enhance their game with proper fundamental training, in a fun, energetic atmosphere. Our goal is to challenge each camper to compete at the best of their ability and sharpen their game for the future.
